The objective

Reach the profit target on a simulated futures account without breaching the max loss or the daily loss limit, over at least 5 trading days. Do that and you move to a funded account and keep 90% of the profit you make.

25K Challenge $1,500 $1,500 $750 3 5 90%
50K Challenge $3,000 $2,500 $1,250 5 5 90%
100K Challenge $6,000 $3,500 $1,750 10 5 90%

How the drawdown works

Your account has a floor. Touch it and the evaluation ends. The floor is set at your starting balance minus the max loss, and depending on the plan it may rise as you profit.

Drawdown is measured on equity, not balance. An open losing position counts against you the moment it moves, not when you close it. Your dashboard shows the live figure and how much room is left.

The daily loss limit

Lose more than the daily limit inside a single session and the account is flattened and locked for that session.

A trading day is not a calendar day. Sessions follow the CME clock and run from 5:00pm Eastern to 4:00pm Eastern the next day. A trade placed at 7:00pm on Monday belongs to Tuesday's session, and Sunday's 5:00pm open starts Monday.

Minimum trading days

You need at least 5 qualifying trading days before an evaluation can pass. A day counts once it closes with a realised profit or loss on it — opening and immediately closing a position to tick the box does not count as trading, and we review accounts that try it.

Getting paid

  1. Pass the evaluation. Your funded account is created automatically.
  2. Trade it profitably. You keep 90% of the profit.
  3. Complete verification once — a photo ID and a tax form (W-9 if you are a US taxpayer, W-8BEN if you are not).
  4. Add a payout method: US bank transfer, international wire, PayPal or stablecoin.
  5. Request the payout from your dashboard. We review, approve and send it.

Verification only has to be done once, but it must be complete before the first payout is released — we cannot legally send funds to an unverified identity. Getting it out of the way early means nothing holds up your first withdrawal.

What will fail an account

Common questions

Is this a one-time fee or a subscription?

One time. You pay for the evaluation once. There is no recurring charge, and no activation fee on top when you pass.

Do I pay for market data?

No. Market data on funded accounts is covered by us. You will need a Ironbeam login, which we create for you automatically the moment your payment clears.

What platform do I trade on?

Ironbeam, with NinjaTrader available on the same account. Your credentials appear in your dashboard as soon as the account is provisioned, usually within a couple of minutes of purchase.

Is there a time limit on the evaluation?

No. Take as long as you need, as long as you meet the minimum trading days and do not breach a limit.

What happens the moment I breach?

Open positions are flattened and the account stops trading. You keep access to the dashboard and the full trade history, and you can start a new evaluation whenever you want.

Can I hold trades overnight or over the weekend?

Overnight, yes, subject to margin. Weekend holds are not permitted — flatten before the Friday close.

Can I trade during news?

On plans where news trading is marked as allowed, yes. Where it is restricted, avoid opening or closing inside the blocked window around high-impact releases.

How quickly are payouts processed?

Requests are reviewed within two business days. Once approved, bank transfers typically settle in three to five business days and stablecoin transfers same day. Your first payout takes longer only if verification is still outstanding.

How much of the profit do I keep?

You keep 90%. It is applied to the amount you request, and your dashboard shows the exact figure before you submit.

Are these real funds?

Accounts are simulated. You are trading a live-data simulated account and paid on the performance you produce in it. This is standard across the futures prop industry and is why no deposit is required.

Choose Your Evaluation

Black Ops Funding provides simulated trading accounts for evaluation purposes. Nothing here is investment advice, and passing an evaluation is not an offer of employment or authorisation to manage funds. See our Terms and Risk Disclosure.
